Working and volunteering at summer camp gives you career skills in leadership,
communication, team building, time management, supervision, problem solving
and decision making. Summer camp offers many learning opportunities in a
relaxed environment working with kids. Working with Hamlin Camps could be the
most
challenging and rewarding job you have ever held.
Hamlin Camps have clear goals. We:
aid campers in gaining a sense of responsibility in group activities
expose campers to recreational resources in the San Francisco Bay
Area
teach the awareness of and accessibility to the use of public
transportation
create an "outdoor" camp environment in an urban setting
As a Hamlin Camps staff member, you will make the physical and emotional needs
of children a priority. You spend your entire day with children. Successful
staff members organize each day and communicate clearly while maintaining a
free spirit. Throughout the summer your co-workers and directors support you.
You will develop life-long relationships, identify new strengths within yourself
and make a difference in your life and the lives of many children.
